This Segment of the I-75 Modernization project includes 8.6 mi of reconstruction and realignment of I-75 mainline and ramps including constructing a future High Occupancy Vehicle lane and the replacement of structures. Among our various tasks associated with this project, SSI has also been responsible for aerial imaging in order to monitor the progress of construction for project owners. Weekly flights of the entire project corridor have been completed using a DJI Phantom UAV. To date, SSI’s FAA certified pilots have logged over 180 hours of flight time and uploaded data into SSI’s interactive viewer.
